Vivid colours and prominent architecture in a village are an integral part of Nagesh Ghodke’s work and each exudes the energy that he attempts to capture.

Nagesh says that he strongly influenced by his surroundings. His stay in his village in Maharashra gave him more exposure to capture the village in a different and unique way. His recent paintings attest to another kind of understanding. The architecture of the village has been refreshed with new and rich color pallet which gives it a western  appearance. Nagesh’s village scapes are very unique and his style of applying colours on each of his works makes him iconic in his field.
