How to Measure:

1 SHOULDER

Stand with your feet together and measure the back from the end of one shoulder to the end of the other shoulder.

2 BUST

Wearing the undergarments that you will wear with the dress, wrap the measuring tape around your back, under your arms and measure the fullest part of your bust, , keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

3 NATURAL WAIST

Located just above the belly button, place the measuring tape around your natural waist.

4 HIPS

Stand with your feet together, wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat, and measure, keep the tape parallel to the floor.

5 NECK DEPTH

Measure from the neck-shoulder point towards the center of your bust (cleavage).

6 LENGTH

Measure from your neck-shoulder point till the required length.

7 INSEAM

Measure inside length of leg from your crotch to the bottom of ankle.

RETURN CONDITIONS

Items must be unworn, with original tags and packaging intact.
The buyer must arrange and pay for return shipping.

REFUND

Once a return is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Refunds may take 7 to 14 business days to reflect, depending on your financial institution. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Curator's Note

Founded in 2020, Yam is a print-centric, millennial-run brand that produces locally with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. With this project, they aim to create new and contemporary works of art while employing traditional techniques of weaving, embroideries, sketching, and painting. Rooted in tradition and the age-old crafts of India, Yam India sources their textiles from across the country, including silks from Benaras and cotton and canvas from weavers in South India.

Their values are ingrained within their pieces as they realise the relevance of sustainability in today’s fashion, just like us, and thus choose to make garments and accessories consciously and with zero wastage. Their hand block printed and hand-painted scarves, blouses and sarees speak to the modern global women of India and beyond. Forests and flora-inspired motifs and nature-inspired prints and patterns are eminent in all of their work. It’s exactly what makes them stand out as their aesthetic ascends into the feminine realm.
