After thoroughly investigating the issue, we reached out to the brand, SAPHED, and discussed your specific query regarding the fabric. They have provided clarification and reassured us that the piece you purchased is indeed made from 100% linen, as stated.

Please find below the message directly from the brand SAPHED:

'Hello! Thank you for your feedback. From our inception, we've been a 100% linen brand and haven't worked with any blends so far. Kindly allow us to take you through our process. We source yarn from European Flax certified mills in India, and the fabric is woven in India itself. When the fabric is woven, we get it tested in labs like Bureau Veritas and Intertek for purity and construction before proceeding. Here are some labs you can send our garments to for testing if you feel any doubt regarding the purity: Intertek Labs, SGS, and Bureau Veritas. We'll be happy to cover the cost for the test should you wish to send them a sample. We're also sharing some simple tests you can perform at home to check the purity of linen in general:

-Pure linen creases. If you crush it and release, you will see creases, whereas blends won't be as creased.
-Pure linen is extremely absorbent and dries quickly. So if you pour water on it, the water absorbs and evaporates without leaving patches.
-Pure linen is fuzzy, and you'll see a lot of loose fibers on its surface on closer look.
-Take a thread out and burn it (please exercise caution while doing so). If it has a synthetic smell and gets beady, it is a blend. Pure linen burns like paper and smells earthy.
Our entire communication on our social media and website states 100% linen. Linen does not have a thread count, and the unit of measurement is Lea. We use 40 Lea linen for our garments.
