This artwork was inspired by the pink shophouse on Koon Seng Road in Katong, Singapore. This artwork features some fun Peranakan tiles and a community cat. I never thought of myself as a cat person until we moved to Singapore. I began to help feed community cats within the first few months of us living here since I was lonely and our dog had yet to join us from Canada. Ultimately I ended up falling in love with one cat in particular and we ended up adopting her and she has been an awesome addition to our family! This Pink Singapore Shophouse artwork has even more meaning to me now than it did when I first painted it!
